ZAM high-strength steel guardrails for highways, expressways, and urban roads. AASHTO M180, EN 1317, and AS/NZS certified. 5040-hour salt spray tested — 5× the corrosion resistance of standard HDG.
From standard W-beam to heavy-duty thrie-beam and cable barriers — complete systems for all road types and containment levels.
Standard double-sided W-profile beam. The global benchmark for highway safety barriers on expressways and national roads.
Three-corrugation profile for higher containment. Suitable for high-speed roads, steep slopes, and heavy-vehicle corridors.
Three-strand high-tensile wire rope barrier for median and roadside. Superior for redirecting errant vehicles, low visual impact.
ET-2000+ and MASH TL-3 compliant flared terminals. Essential for guardrail ends, exits, and culvert headwalls.
Concrete-anchored or steel-post bridge railing systems. Designed for deck-mounted installations with increased rigidity requirements.
Guardrail-to-bridge, W-beam-to-thrie-beam, and stiffness transition pieces for seamless system integration.
Side-by-side comparison of key performance parameters across steel coating types.
With ZAM-coated steel, you can reduce beam section thickness by 15–25% while maintaining or exceeding containment performance. Lighter beams mean lower shipping costs and faster installation — without compromising service life.

Exclusive partnership with Shougang Group for ZMA-coated high-strength steel coils. Stable supply, consistent quality, and competitive pricing.
AASHTO M180, EN 1317 (H1/H2/H4b), AS/NZS 3845 — with CNAS-accredited third-party test reports ready on request.
Complete export documentation, FOB/CIF/DAP Incoterms, packing for sea freight, and coordination with freight forwarders worldwide.
Manufacturing in Jinan, Chongqing, and Wuhan — 10 million meters annual capacity. Custom dimensions and profiles available.
High-strength steel uses 15–25% less material per meter. Lower shipping weight + longer service life = significant TCO advantage.
In-house mechanical testing and coating thickness checks on every batch. Optional SGS/BV inspection available for critical projects.
Common questions from procurement managers, EPC contractors, and road authorities.
We use S750HLD+ZMA (750 MPa yield strength) and S550GD+ZMA (550 MPa yield strength) Zinc-Aluminum-Magnesium coated high-strength steel, exclusively supplied by Shougang Group. This ZAM coating provides 5× better corrosion resistance than conventional hot-dip galvanized (HDG) steel, with a salt spray life exceeding 5040 hours.
Our highway guardrails comply with AASHTO M180 (USA), EN 1317 (Europe — containment levels H1, H2, H4b), AS/NZS 3845 (Australia/New Zealand), and GB/T 31439 (China). We hold CNAS-accredited third-party test reports for each standard. Custom compliance documentation is available for other regional standards on request.
We supply 8 core product types: W-beam guardrail (double-sided), thrie-beam guardrail, cable barrier systems, end terminals (ET-2000, MASH TL-3), transition sections, bridgework guardrails, median barriers (F-shape, New Jersey profile), and custom-profile guardrails for special applications. OEM fabrication is available to customer drawings.
ZAM guardrails exceed 5040 hours of neutral salt spray testing (ISO 9227), versus approximately 1000 hours for standard HDG. The Mg in the ZAM coating forms a dense barrier layer and the coating is self-healing — cut edges re-seal without painting. This makes ZAM the preferred choice for ISO 9223 C4 and C5 corrosivity environments such as Gulf coastlines, tropical islands, and de-icing salt zones.
Minimum order is 1 container load (approximately 20–25 tonnes for W-beam guardrail). Standard production and delivery lead time is 20–30 days after order confirmation and deposit receipt. For large projects (500+ tonnes), we offer priority scheduling from our three production bases. Contact us with your project specs for a committed timeline.
Send us your project specifications — standard, quantity, and delivery port — and we'll respond with a competitive quotation within 24 hours.
